Analysis of Existing Kratom Products Shows Unadulterated Products Would Comply to AB 2365

The Global Kratom Coalition conducted third-party analytical testing of 45 well-known kratom products to determine alkaloid composition of these products in comparison to the thresholds set in AB2365.

In regard to the allowable limit of 7-Hyrdoxymitragynine (7OH) set at 1% of the alkaloid content of a kratom product the analytical tests shows that in 44 of the 45 products the 7OH level does not exceed 1%. This does not include synthetic isolate 7OH products which would be prohibited under AB2365 as they are adulterated. As such, all unadulterated kratom products would be able to be sold in California. AB2365 does not limit the market for unadulterated kratom products, but rather ensures that consumers are not exposed to potent, manipulated products.
